Interstar Education, owner and operator of Victory Heights Primary (pictured), Victory Heights Foundation, South View and the DPS schools in the UAE, is looking to launch a premium British curriculum all-girls school in the emirates.
In an interview, published later today on SchoolsCompared.com, Dinesh Kothari, Founder and Chief Executive of Interstar Education, revealed his intentions for the school also included boarding school facilities.
“The [exact] structure of these schools is not decided, but we are exploring building a highly academic, all-girls, tier one premium British curriculum day and boarding school at the very top of the education sector – the first in the UAE.”
Mr Kothari, with his son Amit Kothari, Executive Director of Interstar Education, were inspired by the call from parents for an equivalent in the UAE to schools like Cheltenham Ladies College and Roedean in the UK.
The new school aims to be operational on or before 2026 according to the interview, and located in Dubailand.
The new school’s announcement comes on the tenth anniversary of Victory Heights Primary School in Dubai.
Mr Kothari told SchoolsCompared.com this was not the limit of current planning:
“After this we will open another Indian curriculum school. Again we are at the point of having made an offer on the land.“
The full interview with Mr Kothari will appear on sister site SchoolsCompared.com later today. A link will be added shortly.
