Nine-year-old Mark Mit (video below) and thirteen-year-old Sana Sajin (video above) were announced as the winners of the Young Directors Award competition on Wednesday 8th March in an award ceremony at Global Village. The two winning video creators have won full scholarships at Bloom World Academy.
Competition entrants created and submitted a short video on the theme ‘My more wonderful world’, in which they were asked to tell the story of how they, or someone they know, would make the world a better place.
Mark Mit, winner of the competition’s junior category, said:
“It feels amazing to have won this award. I’m very excited to join Bloom World Academy where they will help me learn the skills I need to reach my dream of creating games in the metaverse.”
While Sana Sajin, winner of the senior category, shared:
“I’m really happy to be here today and truly grateful for the opportunity to study at such an amazing school. There aren’t many opportunities for filmmakers or actors my age out there and this competition really helped me learn more skills and it paid off at the end.”
