Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Drama to support our expansion and provision across this phase of the school.
The school which opened in September 2015, has already established a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and leadership in the region. By being ambitious, not only for students but for yourself, you will help us build and maintain a successful programme of study in Drama by sharing in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care. Drama is taught as a discrete subject from Year 4 upwards with a focus on delivering high quality lessons, inspired by a range of world theatre traditions. The successful candidate will be expected to make a contribution to our unique and strong enrichment programme, especially in the Performing Arts, which ensures that learning and opportunity are diverse for all.
The successful candidate will:
• Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Have experience of teaching Drama whether that be in the UK or in an international setting and an ability to contribute to the delivery of English teaching.
• Have a minimum 2 years teaching experience
• Have exceptional communication skills
