About our school

NAS Dubai is a purpose built ‘flagship school’ generously resourced with an enrolment touching 2222.Our curriculum is based upon the legacy of the English National Curriculum adapted to the local environment leading up to GCSE and on to the IB Diploma programme, and  A Levels introduced this year. Our GCSE pass rate is a 100% overall pass with 48% A* and 97% of 5 or above and a 39.4-point IB average points score with 40% achieving more than 54% points and one with a perfect 45!

The culture of the school is one of interest and care where learning is personalised to meet individual needs. The annual inspection judgments are ‘very good’ and ‘outstanding’ throughout.

About the role

A key member of the School Leadership Team, you will provide direction, inspiration and guidance to our Secondary teaching staff. Focused on developing a high performing team, you along with the support of the Deputy Head, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school including staff development, performance management and deployment. You will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

About you

Able to drive excellence by valuing and developing others, you will be a qualified teacher with extensive experience of both hands-on teaching and management in education. This means you will be fully up to date with curriculum developments. Strong on leadership and people management, you will have a flair for setting and meeting challenging performance targets.

Able to work with a high degree of cultural sensitivity in our changing and fast-paced international environment, you will have the ability to use a range of communication strategies and channels. Your strong commercial, financial, market and organisational awareness will enable you to devise effective solutions to complex business challenges.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for UAE.

The closing date for application is 17th April 2022. Interviews will take place from 27th April 2022.
