Female PE Teacher

Sharjah English School in the United Arab Emirates is a well established co-educational school offering the National Curriculum to 850 children from Foundation through to A Level.  An inclusive, non-for-profit school, SES occupies a spacious, attractive campus in close proximity to Dubai.  As well as serving the local British expatriate community, the school has students from many other nationalities.  We are a British School Overseas and British Schools of the Middle East accredited school.

We are seeking to employ an energetic, ambitious female PE teacher for a September 2022 position.

Teaching candidates should ideally have a minimum of two years’ experience in teaching the National Curriculum and be fully committed to extending and enhancing extra curricular opportunities.

The role is to provide outstanding learning experiences for pupils across Primary and Secondary working within a team of four specialist PE teachers.

The successful candidate should be able to lead and develop a successful swimming programme. (An ASA Level 2 qualification, or equivalent in swimming is desirable).

A qualification and experience in developing and leading teams in netball and cricket is desirable.
